Hiking & Climbing on the Hochkönig
Active holidays on the Steinernes Meer
During your hiking holidays in Maria Alm you'll discover the impressive variety of the Hochkönig region and profit as a guest of the Pinzgauer Hof from the location of our hotel to enjoy many activities right on the doorstep.
Pleasure walkers and gifted Alpinists as well as climbing freaks will find their favourite routes in the mountain world of the Hochkönig and Steinernes Meer. More than 320 km of perfectly signposted hiking trails lead along the local flora and fauna. Numerous original alpine huts and snack bars spoil tired hikers with traditional Pinzgau dishes with fantastic panoramic views.
The nicest way to get up top is a ride on one of the summer gondolas. And the best thing is: You can ride the gondolas up to the top for free with your Hochkönig Card.
